The Moses Lake Mavericks will face off against the Hanford Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Moses Lake took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Davis a 17-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Mavericks needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hanford). They were the clear victors by a 22-0 margin over Pasco on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Moses Lake hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .405. However, it's not like Hanford struggles in that department as they've averaged .382. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
