It was a good run, but Spectrum unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Family Catholic Fire. If the Sting were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Fire when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15.

Spectrum's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Holy Family Catholic, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-4.

Spectrum has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Mabel-Canton on the 13th. As for Holy Family Catholic, they will challenge Delano at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
