Soccer Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Roanoke Rapids

Roanoke Rapids had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Nash Central Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Thursday. Given Roanoke Rapids' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Nash Central are ranked 223rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Roanoke Rapids' one-goal win came courtesy of Claire Walker, who's now up to ten this season.

Coming up, Roanoke Rapids will be playing at home against Southwest Onslow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Southwest Onslow will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Roanoke Rapids surely won't give up without a fight. Nash Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
