Walther Christian Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Woodlands Academy on Monday. The Broncos' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 16-0 shutout. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Walther Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Autumn Balock, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave Balock a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kariyah Perez, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

Walther Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Woodlands Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
