If Alexandria was riding high fresh off their 89-54 takedown of West Monroe on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Alexandria Trojans were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 49-48 to the Dunham Tigers. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordyn Johnson, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 18 points. Johnson has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jarvell Bordelon, who went 7 for 13 en route to 18 points and three steals.

Alexandria's defeat dropped their record down to 23-6. As for Dunham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-11.

Alexandria will challenge Pineville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dunham, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-44 loss against Liberty Magnet on the 27th.
