Clayton Valley Charter is a perfect 6-0 against Miramonte since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Ugly Eagles will head out to square off against the Matadors at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Clayton Valley Charter came up short against Northgate on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Miramonte came up short against Las Lomas last Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Matadors have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Miramonte's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Everything went Clayton Valley Charter's way against Miramonte in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Clayton Valley Charter made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ugly Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
