 In what's become a running theme this season, Bloomfield gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. They never let the Shiprock Chieftains onto the board and left with  a   12-0  win. While fans of Bloomfield might be used to big wins, the 12-run margin marked the team's biggest  victory yet this season.
  Nevaeh Garcia tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits over five innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Elysse Smith-Oliver was a standout: she scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.  Nevaeh Archuleta was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 The  win  got Bloomfield back to even at 8-8. As for Shiprock, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Bloomfield will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Silver at 11:00  a.m. Silver will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something Bloomfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shiprock, they are on the road again  on Tuesday to play Aztec at 3:00  p.m. Aztec is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8  runs per game this season.
