Basketball Recap: Hallettsville Takes a Loss

Hallettsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 59-51 to the Gonzales Apaches. If the Brahmas were looking for revenge after losing 52-48 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hallettsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Gonzales, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Hallettsville has already played their next game, a 63-33 defeat against Marion on the 12th. As for Gonzales, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-28 loss against Davenport on the 13th.
