Football Recap: Maquoketa Valley Comes Up Short

Maquoketa Valley lost against Wapsie Valley back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell 27-16 to the Warriors.

Maquoketa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Wapsie Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maquoketa Valley will venture away from home to take on Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wapsie Valley, they will head out to challenge South Winneshiek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
