Softball Recap: Edward Little Comes Up Short

Edward Little fell victim to Oxford Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Red Eddies have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Edward Little and nudges their season record down to 7-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Oxford Hills, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Edward Little will host Messalonskee at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oxford Hills, they will head out on the road to face off against Lewiston at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
