Football Game Preview: Greeneville Greene Devils vs. White County Warriors + Official Tickets

The Greeneville Greene Devils will be playing at home against the White County Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greeneville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Greeneville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Carter 56-10. Considering the Greene Devils have won nine matchups by more than 34 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, White County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Hixson on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 20-14 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 205th).

Greeneville better keep an eye on Cole Sims. He was instrumental in White County's win, rushing for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Sims is becoming a predictor of the Warriors' success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 7-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

White County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 237 rushing yards. They are 7-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Greeneville's record is now 10-1. As for White County, their record now sits at 8-3.
