Volleyball Recap: East Jefferson Comes Up Short

East Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Byrd Yellow Jackets.

East Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 9-23. As for Byrd, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-4.

East Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Landry on the 18th. As for Byrd, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Christ Episcopal School on the 17th.
