The Silas Rams will challenge the Gig Harbor Tides at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Silas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.3 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Silas got the win against Lincoln by a conclusive 25-9. The Rams have beaten the Abes the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Abes has come to flipping the script.

Silas got a massive performance out of Tatum Butterfield, who got on base in all six of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs Butterfield has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Rodriguez, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Silas was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Gig Harbor's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Central Kitsap by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tides have suffered since March 15, 2024.

Gig Harbor's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Silas, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
