Basketball Recap: Cairo Comes Up Short

Cairo lost against Crab Orchard back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cairo Pilots fell 86-78 to the Crab Orchard Trojans. The Pilots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cairo now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Crab Orchard, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Thompsonville the next time they take the court. Cairo will head out to face Thompsonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Crab Orchard will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on February 4th.
