Football Recap: Stevensville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Stevensville was feeling good fresh off their 21-0 takedown of Park last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets took a 26-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salmon Savages on Friday.

Luca Schmidt threw for 127 yards and two TDs. Mylan Hill was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards. On the ground, Landon Bryan rushed for 43 yards.

Stevensville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Salmon, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Stevensville will host Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Yellowjackets their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Salmon, they are taking a road trip to face off against North Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Savages' defense better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 32.8 points per game this season.
