Volleyball Recap: Downtown Magnets Comes Up Short

Downtown Magnets and Sherman Oaks CES squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Downtown Magnets had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

Downtown Magnets' loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Sherman Oaks CES, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-14-1.

Downtown Magnets does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they will square off against East Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
