Volleyball Recap: Sumner's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Six + How To Watch

Sumner had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Bonney Lake Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

While Sumner won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Bryn Kastberg and Jada Foster, who picked up eight kills apiece. They were helped by Casi Wicklander and Brooke Anardi, who contributed 11 assists each. Anardi also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rylee Insley, racking up two apiece.

Sumner's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Bonney Lake, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
