It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stratford can now relate to. They lost 31-10 to the Jordan Warriors on Friday. The Spartans were red-hot offensively headed into the match (they scored no less than 31 points in the three contests prior) but the Warriors' defense proved too tough.

Stratford wouldn't let Jordan keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Stratford can thank Demetris Cotton Iii and Javier Denson for forcing both of them. Stratford got some further help from Parker Johnson: he made 21 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Tanner West continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Jordan, rushing for 202 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picking up 57 receiving yards. Those 202 rushing yards gave West a new career-high. Dominic Cangolosi was another key player, throwing for 139 yards and a touchdown while completing 82.4% of his passes.

Stratford moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Jordan, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Stratford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jordan has also already played their next game, a 54-20 defeat against Summer Creek on the 29th.
