Basketball Recap: Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Takes a Loss

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics lost against Milledgeville Athletic Club last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patriots were beaten by the Bears 59-29. The Patriots were down 49-20 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Milledgeville Athletic Club's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Greyson Rogers, who posted 21 points. Rogers' evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Branden Conner, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Milledgeville Athletic Club, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgia School for Innovation & Classics will venture away from home to square off against Glascock County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Milledgeville Athletic Club, they will head out to take on Monsignor Donovan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
