Volleyball Game Preview: Wilson Wildcats vs. Charter Oak Chargers + How To Watch

Wilson hasn't had much luck against Charter Oak recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wildcats will host the Chargers at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Wilson turned things around against Covina on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Colts, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since September 6th.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (114-107) Wilson actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 16-25, 21-25, 27-25, 27-25, 16-14.

West Covina typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Charter Oak proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

While Charter Oak might've won, it sure wasn't easy: West Covina scored at least 22 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, 24-26, 25-23.

Wilson's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 11-12. As for Charter Oak, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.
