Volleyball Recap: Queen's Grant Comes Up Short

Queen's Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Bradford Prep Bears, falling 3-0. If the Stallions were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bears when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-6.

Bradford Prep can attribute much of their success to Bailey Clark, who had 29 assists. Clark is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Emma Watson also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Queen's Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Bradford Prep, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Queen's Grant will venture away from home to challenge Carolina International at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bradford Prep, they will head out to take on Community School of Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
