Basketball Recap: Sequoyah Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ketchum last Saturday, Sequoyah came back down to earth. The Sequoyah Eagles fell just short of the Wagoner Bulldogs by a score of 40-38 on Friday. The Eagles have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Sequoyah's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Wagoner, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Sequoyah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-36 win against Skiatook on the 25th. Wagoner has also already played their next contest, a 38-31 defeat against Sallisaw on the 25th.
