Volleyball Recap: Branham Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Branham waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Evergreen Valley Cougars by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bruins also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Gunjan Joshi paced Branham's offense, picking up nine kills. Joshi got some help from Evie Park and her eight assists. Kaci Nguyen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Branham now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Evergreen Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Branham will square off against rival Westmont at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Evergreen Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Silver Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
