Softball Recap: Forest Hills Comes Up Short

Forest Hills lost against Francis Lewis back in April of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rangers lost 15-7 to the Patriots. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aaliyah Baratau was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Forest Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Francis Lewis, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Hills will face off against Hillcrest at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Francis Lewis, they will take on Bowne at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
