Football Recap: Mountain View Mavericks vs. Meridian Warriors
Mountain View extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Henry Nelson. The Mavericks breezed past the Meridian Warriors to the tune of 41-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Nelson, who threw for 248 yards and five TDs while completing 89.5% of his passes. Mountain View is undefeated when Nelson posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
Denton Wilson was Nelson's top target, picking up 103 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Wilson was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 65 yards.
