Basketball Recap: Jamestown Drops Season-High Score on Tuscumbia

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jamestown). They strolled past the Tuscumbia Lions with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 56-40. Given Jamestown's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Tuscumbia is ranked 523rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jamestown pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Tuscumbia, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
