MacArthur posted their closest victory since November 22, 2025 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-56 win over the Nimitz Vikings. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Nimitz's loss came despite strong showings from Bryan Cuevas and Player #4. Cuevas dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards, while Player #4 shot 83% from the field en route to 14 points. Cuevas has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Breion Gordon was another key player, putting up seven points.

MacArthur's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Nimitz, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

MacArthur wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 89-50 defeat against Lake Highlands on the 22nd. As for Nimitz, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 77-59 loss against Berkner on the 22nd.
