The biggest upset of the week belonged to Modesto, who took down 795th ranked Modesto, 38-32. Erik Hernandez ran for 217 yards in the win.
Johansen moved up to 908 from 947 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Modesto Metro. The Vikings climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Panthers 38-32.
Downey's dynamic duo of Aaron Zwahlen and Richard Lopez proved tough for Beyer to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Zwahlen threw for 454 yards and three touchdowns and Lopez had 165 yards receiving. Blake Lopes helped Downey's passing attack out by catching five balls for 123 yards.
DelRaye Warren made the biggest impact on defense this week as Enochs beat Davis. The 5-foot-9 junior grabbed 1.5 sacks.
The Knights' Zwahlen and Lopez have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Zwahlen has thrown for 3075 yards this season, while Lopez, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 45 catches for 1004 yards. Johansen's Hernandez leads the league in rushing yards with 1207.
In 97 carries Alex Labanon has accumulated 960 yard this year.
Downey extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Patriots, 24-20. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
