Soccer Game Preview: Wayne County vs. East Central

Wayne County is 0-3 against East Central since December of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wayne County War Eagles will challenge the East Central Hornets at 7:00 p.m.

Wayne County is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Enterprise on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for East Central's offense. 2025 welcomed they with a 6-0 loss courtesy of Oxford on Saturday. Considering the last time the Hornets couldn't score was back in November of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

With that draw, Wayne County's record moves to 8-4-1. As for East Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
