Softball Recap: Hilbert Wins Going Away Against Roncalli

Hilbert not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25th (when they won 15-1). Everything went their way against the Roncalli Jets as they made off with a 7-1 victory. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered an 11-10 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Hilbert and bumps their season record up to 9-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Roncalli, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Hilbert will take on Kiel at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Roncalli has already played their next contest (against Green Bay East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
