Greenfield dropped down to 4-4 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a blow against the Dresden Lions, falling 42-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Yellowjackets have suffered since November 1, 2024.

Easton Sullivan threw for 35 yards on three of nine attempts.

As for Dresden, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Considering they have won five contests by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Luke Di Pietro produced another solid effort rushing for 165 yards and three scores while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Bruce Willis, who threw for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven passes.

Greenfield and Dresden will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Yellowjackets see the field they'll take on Lake County at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Dresden, their break will end when they face South Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
