Baseball Recap: Philip Simmons Victorious

Philip Simmons extended their postseason success on Thursday against Lake City. They skirted past the Panthers 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Iron Horses.

Alex Romanski was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Brian Ebeling was another key player, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Philip Simmons hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Philip Simmons now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Lake City, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

As of now, neither Philip Simmons nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
