Basketball Game Preview: Maumelle Charter Falcons vs. Pangburn Tigers

The Maumelle Charter Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Pangburn Tigers at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Maumelle Charter came up short against Bald Knob on Friday, falling 66-44. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 70th).

Meanwhile, Pangburn came up short against Rose Bud on Friday and fell 64-52. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Ramblers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Maumelle Charter has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Pangburn, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Maumelle Charter couldn't quite finish off Pangburn in their previous meeting back in February of 2020 and fell 88-85. Can Maumelle Charter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
