Baseball Game Preview: Northwest Vikings vs. West Creek Coyote

For the second straight game, Northwest will face off against West Creek. The Vikings will venture away from home to take on the Coyote at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Northwest came up short against West Creek on Monday, falling 14-3.

For West Creek's part, Julio Perez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Perez has become a key player for the Coyote: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-14 otherwise. Donte Castro was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

The win snapped West Creek's losing streak at ten games and leaves them with a 6-14 record. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.
