Volleyball Game Preview: Western Dubuque Bobcats vs. Jefferson Hawks

The Western Dubuque Bobcats will square off against the Jefferson Hawks on Saturday. The timing is sure in Western Dubuque's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Jefferson has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Saturday, Western Dubuque beat MFL MarMac 2-0.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Hawks on Tuesday. Jefferson took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Prairie.

Western Dubuque's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-18.

Western Dubuque was able to grind out a solid victory over Jefferson when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
