Weldon Valley has gone a perfect 7-0 against Lone Star recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Longhorns at 5:00 p.m. Weldon Valley will be strutting in after a win while Lone Star will be coming in after a loss.

While Weldon Valley's victory against Peetz wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors skirted past the Bulldogs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since September 5th.

Meanwhile, Lone Star unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Dolores by a score of 2-1.

Weldon Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-13. As for Lone Star, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Weldon Valley took their win against Lone Star in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
