Volleyball Recap: Christian Fellowship vs. Calvary Lutheran Lions

Christian Fellowship was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Calvary Lutheran Lions, falling 3-0. If Christian Fellowship was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Calvary Lutheran when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Christian Fellowship had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Grace Heston paced Christian Fellowship's offense, picking up six kills. Heston got some help from Aubrey North and her ten assists. Lindsey Daack controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Christian Fellowship's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Calvary Lutheran, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Fellowship will take on New Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Calvary Lutheran, they will face off against Russellville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
