Soccer Recap: Salem Hills Takes a Loss

Salem Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wasatch Wasps. That's two games in a row now that Salem Hills have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Olivia Shinners, which was the first she's scored this season.

Salem Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Wasatch, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Salem Hills wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Payson on the 25th. As for Wasatch, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Spanish Fork on the 25th.
