Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Agawam). They never let the Holyoke Purple Knights get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Friday. The Brownies have beaten the Purple Knights the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Purple Knights has come to flipping the script.

Madelyn Pajer was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylor Stairs, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
