Basketball Recap: Pickering Takes a Loss

After flying high against Simpson last Friday, Pickering came back down to earth. The Pickering Red Devils took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Beauregard Trojans on Friday. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Pickering's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for East Beauregard, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickering will square off against DeQuincy at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. East Beauregard has already played their next matchup (against Vinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
