Bucklin came tearing into Friday's contest with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Macksville Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 50-32. The Red Aces have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Bucklin was led to victory by Karlee Evans and Emmy Kirk. Evans posted 16 points in addition to six steals and five boards, while Kirk to rack up 16 points. With that strong performance, Evans is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Stout, who put up seven points and five rebounds.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniela Reyes, who earned nine points. Reyes has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Laney Butler, who scored nine points and five boards.

Bucklin's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Macksville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Bucklin has already played their next match, a 65-21 victory against Satanta on the 21st. As for Macksville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-29 win against Otis-Bison on the 20th.
