Highlands won against Walton-Verona on Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went the Bluebirds' way against the Ryle Raiders as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The Bluebirds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Highlands is on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Ryle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Highlands beat the Raiders by a score of 10-1 later that day.
