The Huffman Vikings will square off against the Jackson-Olin Mustangs at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Huffman is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.

Huffman's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Clay-Chalkville by a score of 2-0. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Allison Lopez and Cristel Turcios scored both of Huffman's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Jackson-Olin unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Crossville on Tuesday, falling 6-0.

The victory made it two in a row for Huffman and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Jackson-Olin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Huffman came out on top in a nail-biter against Jackson-Olin in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will Huffman repeat their success, or does Jackson-Olin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
