Volleyball Game Preview: Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets vs. Continental Pirates

The Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets will head out on the road to square off against the Continental Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Cory-Rawson has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Saturday, Cory-Rawson didn't have quite enough to beat Ada and fell 2-1. The Fighting Hornets haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Continental earned a 3-1 victory over Antwerp on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Archers: they've now won four in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Antwerp scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 15-25, 25-20.

Continental's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Cory-Rawson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
