Softball Recap: Beulah Takes Down Ranked Minot

Beulah faced Minot in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Miners walked away with a 14-9 win over the Magicians. For the Miners, this counts as revenge for the 20-1 victory the Magicians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Beulah is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Minot, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-4.

Beulah didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Mandan on the 26th. As for Minot, they have also already played their next game, a 7-5 victory against Central Cass on the 26th.
