Recap: Interlake Saints vs. Liberty Patriots
After flying high against the Highline Pirates two weeks ago, the Interlake Saints came back down to earth. Interlake had to suffer through a rough 53-10 loss at the hands of Liberty. Interlake has not had much luck with Liberty recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Tiffany Shaw was Interlake's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Katelin Wagner held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Interlake's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Liberty, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.
Interlake will head out on the road to face off against Hazen at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Hazen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Wednesday. As for Liberty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Washington is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
