Football Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Boone + How To Watch

Boone extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-0. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 27-21 W against the West Orange Warriors. This was payback for the Braves, who suffered a 24-17 loss the last time these two teams met.

Aaron Hardy Jr produced another solid effort rushing for 201 yards and three scores. Those 201 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Boone was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Orange only rushed for 60 rushing yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Orange fell to 3-1. The loss was their first of the season.

West Orange's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Chung, who threw for 252 yards and three TDs. Chung is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Sean Tulloch was in the mix as well, providing West Orange with two touchdowns.

Boone wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 24-21 win against Ocoee on the 19th. As for West Orange, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-0 victory against Lake Buena Vista on the 19th.
