After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mantachie, Wheeler was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jumpertown Cardinals. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won four in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wheeler took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Camryn Sanford and Marli Shockley, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Marlee Hutcheson and her ten assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Wheeler's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Jumpertown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Wheeler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against New Site on the 23rd. As for Jumpertown, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Thrasher on the 25th.
