Volleyball Recap: North Salinas Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Salinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Monterey County Condors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Condors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

While North Salinas ultimately came up short, they really made North Monterey County work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-14, 23-25, 25-14.

North Salinas' loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for North Monterey County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Salinas will challenge rival St. Francis at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, North Monterey County is set to square off against their familiar foe Pajaro Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
