Softball Recap: Bishop Kelly Knights vs. Kuna Kavemen
Bishop Kelly took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Kuna Kavemen 9-7. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Kavemen, too.

Lauren Fettic made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Olivia Watt was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Cunningham, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Looking ahead, Bishop Kelly will take on Canyon View at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kuna, they will square off against Eagle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kuna is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
